Frequently asked questions
What is Pace?
Pace is a private business cloud for small and mid-sized teams. One login, one bill, one tenant-isolated workspace for documents, messaging, signatures, files, and customer inbox — plus AI agents that operate on your business data.
Which apps are included?
Every Pace workspace includes the Core Five apps on all paid tiers:
- Vault — shared passwords and secrets (Vaultwarden)
- Messages — team chat and channels (Mattermost)
- Sign — contracts and e-signatures (DocuSeal)
- Files — company file storage
- Inbox — shared customer inbox (Chatwoot)
Higher tiers add more apps (Wiki, Forms, CRM, and others). See Docs for per-service walkthroughs.
How do I get access?
Two paths:
- Waitlist — join from pacehq.io with your work email. We invite workspaces as capacity opens.
- Sign up — when invitations are open, create your organization at app.pacehq.io (Stytch B2B login: magic link, Google OAuth, or password).
Can I try Pace before signing up?
Yes. The public workspace demo at pacehq.io/demo walks through a sample tenant UI — no account required. It is a marketing preview, not your live workspace.
How much does Pace cost?
Pace uses flat per-company pricing — no per-seat math. Public list prices (monthly billing, USD):
- Operate — $149/mo — Core Five apps and Tier 1–3 agents
- Scale — $299/mo — 10 apps, Tier 1–4 agents, priority support
- Own — $999/mo — all 17 apps and Tier 1–5 agents
- Sovereign — $4,999/mo — dedicated Hetzner infrastructure, single-tenant
Annual billing saves roughly two months. See pricing on the home page or per-company pricing for detail. Join the waitlist to pick a tier when invited.
Is my company's data isolated from other customers?
Yes. Pace is multi-tenant by design. Every tenant-scoped database query runs with Postgres row-level security (RLS). Strut sets app.current_tenant_id on each connection before application SQL runs. See Security & Trust.
Where does Pace run?
The control plane (Relay gateway and Strut API) runs on Railway. Tenant data lives in Supabase Postgres (us-east-2). Redis Streams and Pub/Sub use Upstash. Core app containers run on Hetzner when provisioned for your tenant. The marketing site and app UI are on Cloudflare Pages.
What AI agents does Pace include?
Pace ships purpose-built agents per domain — for example VANGUARD (vault/security), DISPATCH (messages/inbox), LEDGER (sign/billing), and HERALD (files/notifications). Agents are constrained to explicit tool lists and default to Tier 1 (human confirmation before irreversible actions). Higher autonomy tiers unlock with clean history and plan entitlements.
How do I check whether Pace is up?
See pacehq.io/status. Control-plane health (Relay, Strut, database, Redis) is checked live when possible. Core app rows reflect the last published public snapshot — not a guarantee that every tenant hostname is reachable today.
Where are your legal policies?
All policies are indexed at pacehq.io/legal, including Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use, Cookies, Security, and Subprocessors. Some counsel-reviewed sections are still marked pending review in the published text.
